Rejected Draft guide

Start with a discarded doodle, defeat rival sketches, absorb their rewards, and redraw when a new run will carry you further. This independent field guide keeps the browser game, Steam demo, and unreleased full game distinct.

The game opens on KuzziGames. This site does not host or embed it.

From the trash to the Gallery

A practical progression route

Follow these decisions as systems unlock. This is an early-game route, not a fixed stage order or a promise of the same build on every run.

  1. 01 / First fights

    Learn the Gallery loop

Challenge the opening sketches, compare the rewards shown on their cards, and spend your early currency on the stat or tool that addresses your current wall. The visible opening Gallery begins with Stick Man, Smudge, and Perspective Block.

  2. 02 / First wall

    Inspect the problem before waiting

If a sketch stops your climb, check its displayed stats and your Recent Events or Combat Log. Compare the available stat upgrades and tools; the best purchase depends on the enemy and your current build.

  3. 03 / Redraw

Trade a run for lasting power

When the next purchase or victory is slow, inspect the Redraw preview. The Steam description says prestige trades run progress for specialized currency and skill-tree investment. Check the actual preview before confirming because rewards and retention can differ by version and layer.

  4. 04 / Later layers

    Revisit old decisions

New currencies, rarities, automation, and prestige layers change which stats matter. Recheck your Gallery and Glossary after unlocking a new system rather than treating one early-game route as universal.

When should you reset?

The publisher describes a loop of pushing, sacrificing run progress, earning new resources, and investing in skill trees. The exact best redraw point depends on the preview and your bottleneck. Use this three-step check instead of a universal number.

01

Before a redraw

Compare the next attainable victory or upgrade with the currency shown in the Redraw preview. Record which sketch is blocking you and why.

02

At the reset screen

Read the current version's reset and retention summary. Spend the new currency on skill-tree nodes that address that bottleneck; do not assume every layer preserves the same things.

03

On the next run

Revisit sketch selection, Glossary priorities, and unlocked automation. The Steam store describes randomized higher-rarity sketches, so your next route may differ from someone else's guide.

The web build and the upcoming Steam game diverge. Confirm each layer's rules in the version you are playing.

These are the first three cards visible in the official browser game when checked on 2026-10-23. Rewards are displayed stat gains, not a fixed loot-drop table. Later sketches, variants, and balance changes should be checked in the in-game Glossary.
