Optional challenge

How Hell mode works

On the creator’s mission-select screen, turn Hell mode on before choosing a supported map. It starts on round 100, allows up to 300 zombies at once, and removes perk machines. The toggle applies to Kino, Five, Der Riese, Nacht, Verrückt and Shi No Numa. Ascension, Call of the Dead, Shangri-La and Moon start normally even when the toggle is on.

The direct map links above open normal mode. Use the full menu to choose Hell mode first.

Before you launch

What the browser game needs

  1. 1. A desktop browser. The creator’s check accepts current desktop Chrome, Edge or Firefox and blocks phones and tablets.
  2. 2. Graphics and memory. Keep hardware acceleration on. The game checks for WebGL2 and asks for a 1.5 GiB game heap plus room for graphics and sound.
  3. 3. Browser storage. Only the map you select begins downloading. The game checks free storage and can resume saved partial files after an interrupted download.

What happens after you choose a map?

The map page checks your browser, downloads that map’s files, then shows a loading bar and a click-to-start prompt. Before starting, open Options to adjust mouse sensitivity, master volume or fullscreen. You do not need the GitHub source repository or a separate installer for this browser version.

Use the message you see

If the game will not start

These fixes match messages in the creator’s current browser checks and loading screen.

“Desktop required”
The game blocks mobile browsers. Open the link on a computer with a keyboard and mouse.
“Shared memory unavailable”
Open the HTTPS game link directly in a current desktop Chrome, Edge or Firefox tab. The game needs browser isolation and shared memory.
“Unsupported graphics” or “WebGL2 unavailable”
Turn on graphics acceleration in your browser, restart it, and update your graphics driver if the message remains.
“Not enough storage” or “Download interrupted”
Free browser storage or allow this site to save files, then use Try again or Resume. The creator’s page says saved partial files can resume.
“Out of memory”
Close other tabs and apps, then reload in a 64-bit desktop browser. The game asks for a 1.5 GiB heap plus graphics and sound memory.

About the source code

The linked GitHub repository contains decompiled Windows C++ engine code for modding and local builds. The playable browser version is on vel.gg. These are different ways to explore the project; the source repository is not a browser game download.
